Dash vs. Dash On Cue?

I started playing pool with friends, but never consistently or competitively. I would go shoot balls by myself without any concept of shape. I felt no matter how bad my day was, just making the balls into the pocket was therapeutic.
Many, many years later, I joined a pool league and then it changed my whole perspective of pool. By November 2025, it marks a year since I started playing in the BCA pool league. By February 2026, it would mark a year since I joined the APA league. Never would I have imagined I'd be playing 3 nights a week in pool leagues when I dislike being in crowds and loud places, nor am I fan of being in a club.
It's an everlasting journey, sometimes I get so frustrated and want to quit it all and some days, it feels like I'm over the moon when every shot feels natural. To anyone who likes to play pool, but not in a league, I'm encouraging you to just do it because it will help your game, test your nerves and patience, you'd go on an adventure and feel a sense of camaraderie with people with different perspectives and background.
I started posting recap on social media and received positive feedback then the idea of Dash On Cue was born. As I started making content for the brand, I kept getting new inspirations - a site that shows places you can play pool (directories exist, but not maintained), tournaments explanation and centralized details because it's hard to keep up on social media, and a medium to give spotlight to all players that are putting themselves out there to play. For the love of pool, we don't have to be a pro, a high-rated player, or a champion to be included and share our experiences.
